Interior staging Installing Curating

The transition from mise-en-scène to installation to curating merges seamlessly. The event determines the theme: culture, exhibitions, festivals, gala events, official and private festivities, company presentations, trade fairs, product launches, anniversaries and seasons of the year.

An individual concept or the wishes of the client define the location, the details of the content. Imagination blossoms with the task, with the names, colours, motifs, and grows into colourful images. It is the realization of this vision that is the real challenge of the mise-en-scène. Only by using materials of the best quality, skilfully applied and accurately implemented, can a pleasing and successful result be achieved.

The designer deliberately uses certain methods to create a changing scene: he enables such effects by the use of colour, light, tone, scent, props. The choice of tool defines the atmosphere of the room, develops the ambience for the objects, forms the event: a merging of mind and material is the successful result.

Each event is unique. The people are at the centre: they are invited into the room, to story-telling, to art works, to an experience, in an intellectual connection, to dance and to enjoy.

The designer's own printed material can provide an important accompaniment to the mise-en-scène: a catalogue supplements the information; invitations and menus illustrate the event and remain memories to keep and treasure.

The staging becomes artistic when it changes perception, affects the way of looking, makes the room into a new place. Whenever the observer leaves the mise-en-scène, it leaves with him, and installs itself anew in the outside world.
